An informative & fun lesson on anxiety. Students learn what causes panic attacks, and how can you prevent them. They will then analyse the Florence & the Machine song, ‘Free’ which is about her experiences with anxiety and panic attacks. All video links included. I have included the 21-slide PowerPoint, lyrics sheet and an answer sheet. I have also included a fun starter and an extension activity on language analysis.
A fun starter for Drama / Media / English students or tutor time. Based on the fabulous podcast where students have to answer ten questions about films. Will get a great debate going!
Two separate PowerPoints. The students love this activity based on the TV game show ‘Catchphrase.’ The students have to guess the movie and TV catchphrases / puzzles. They have 12 to complete on both activities. I have included the PowerPoint and the cut-out sheet.
